In the framework of a series, jointly organised by the BMWFW, the WWTF and the Platform fteval, which reflects the Austrian research system through foreign examples and practices, we invite you to our event \u201cCoherence, diversity, excellence!?\u201d on the governance of the Dutch university and research system and what can be learned from it. The keynote on \u201cCan national systems of Higher Education and Research learn from each other?\u201d will be given by Sijbolt Noorda (President Magna Charta Observatory, Bologna, Former President Universiteit van Amsterdam and the Dutch Research Universities Association).<\/p>\n

The event will take place on Thursday, 1st of June, 14:00-17:00 at the conference facilities of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW), Freyung 3, 2.Stock, 1010 Vienna. The keynote will be in English.<\/p>\n

The panel discussion with Sijbolt Noorda, Elmar Pichl (Director General, BMWFW), Helga Nowotny (ERA Council Forum and Austrian Council for Research and Technology Development), Oliver Vitouch (Rector of the Alpen-Adria University und President of Universities Austria), moderated by Michael Stampfer (WWTF), will be in German.
