Episode 21 – Evaluation at local, national and European level: in conversation with Angelika Sauer-Malin

Angelika Sauer-Malin is a researcher and evaluator in the POLICIES department at Joanneum Research in Graz.
In this podcast episode, she talks about her work as an evaluator at local, national and European level and what she has been able to achieve so far.
We learn what skills evaluators need to have, how to create a learning atmosphere instead of an “assessment” atmosphere and what else her department deals with.
For the fteval platform, she would like to see a mentoring program for junior evaluators – a very interesting idea that we will definitely evaluate!
