In this seminar, examples from Sweden, the Netherlands and Austria are presented to understand what individual solutions are being found for monitoring the implementation of mission-oriented programmes and measures. In addition, the OECD will provide a comparative theory-based overview of the state of monitoring the implementation of missions.     Panel evaluations are a central instrument of science-led selection and assessment procedures, both in research funding and in research policy decision-making.
