The 2026 evaluation of the Basic Programs assessed the impact of the central bottom-up funding for innovation in companies — one of the largest and longest-standing instruments of RTI policy in Austria. At a joint event with the BMIMI, the fteval community discussed not only the methodological approach using AMDC microdata, but also the findings of this evaluation and their implications for the FTI system in Austria.
