With over 8,000 students at three locations and five cooperation locations, the FH Campus Wien is Austria’s largest university of applied sciences. The departments of Applied Nursing, Applied Life Sciences, Building and Design, Health Sciences, Social Sciences, Technology as well as Administration, Economics, Security, Politics offer a choice of almost 70 degree programmes and university courses in part-time and full-time form. Application-related research and development is bundled in ten subject-specific competence centres. Continuing education and training in the form of seminars, modules and certificate programmes are covered by the FH Campus Wien Academy. The FH Campus Wien is a founding member of the Alliance of Sustainable Universities.

Public Management at the FH Campus Wien is an interdisciplinary study programme tailored to the requirements of the public sector. The Bachelor’s programme offers a sound basis for efficient management with social responsibility and the opportunity to help shape public structures and services for the common good. Graduates of the Master’s programme are prepared to shape complex modernisation and change processes in the public sector and to take on leadership responsibility. Both degree programmes are organised on a part-time basis. The Competence Centre for Administrative Sciences at the FH Campus Wien researches the administration of the 21st century. It conducts practice-relevant research and ensures knowledge transfer between research, teaching and practice. The current research focuses are knowledge management, inclusion, participation, leadership and public value.
