The Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) is Austria’s leading economic research organisation and focuses on empirical analysis and economic forecasts. WIFO has played a key role in many landmark projects for the European Commission dealing with the analysis and the monitoring of innovation performance in the European Union and beyond.
