The REvaluation Conference 2027 invites scholars, policymakers, practitioners, and evaluators to contribute to an international dialogue on the future of research, technology, and innovation evaluation. Under the overarching theme and motto “Scouting paths on shifting maps”, the conference explores how evaluation can remain meaningful, responsible, and constructive in times of accelerating change and growing pressure on science and innovation systems. The German federal company Zukunft - Umwelt - Gesellschaft (ZUG) currently offers two calls for tenders: Evaluation of funding intrument IKI Invest of International Climate Initiative (IKI) IKI’s funding instrument IKI Invest is due to be evaluated with a focus on accountability as per §7 Bundeshaushaltsordnung (BHO) as well as the added criterion of planning and steering. It will encompass two country case studies with field visits as well as 8 project-based case studies with remote data gathering. Due date for tender submissions: August 21, 2025. The fteval Platform keeps growing and is delighted to announce that this year we were able to win two institutions as new members. We warmly welcome Austria's Klima- und Energiefonds as well as the Gesellschaft für Forschungsförderung Niederösterreich in our community and we are looking forward to this cooperation. Both organisations are a strong gain for the fteval Platform. The GFF is our first state-based funding agency outside Vienna and the Klimafonds enriches the Platform with their broad funding portfolio.
